Vision Beyond Sight: Career Development Program – 2026

On 07 February 2026, Thaaikarangal Charitable Trust conducted a Career Guidance Session at St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School for the Visually Impaired, Paravai (Madurai) for students preparing for their public examinations.
The session was led by Dr. R. Raja, Managing Trustee & President of Thaaikarangal Charitable Trust, who interacted directly with the students. The students actively raised questions about suitable courses, higher education opportunities, and the possibility of pursuing studies in Chennai. The interaction helped them better understand available educational paths and future career options.
During the session, guidance was provided on subject selection, higher education opportunities, and practical steps for leading an independent life. The discussion encouraged students to think positively about their future and to plan their next stage of education with confidence.
At the end of the program, 53 visually impaired students were provided with essential stationery items and snacks to support them in their upcoming public examinations. This served as both practical assistance and encouragement.
The session created hope and clarity among the students and marked another step in Thaaikarangal Charitable Trust’s continuing efforts to guide and empower visually impaired students through education.
