Launch of Career Guidance Programme 2025–2026
We are delighted to announce the commencement of this year’s Career Guidance Program for visually impaired students in Tamil Nadu. The first session for the 2025–2026 academic year took place on 23rd November 2025 at the Higher Secondary School for the Visually Impaired, Palayamkottai.
Students from grades 10, 11, and 12 participated in the session with immense interest and curiosity. Our Foundation’s Joint Treasurer, Mr. Venkatesan, interacted with the students and offered guidance on important topics such as:
- Choosing courses after 10th and 12th
- Higher education pathways
- Entrance requirements for various disciplines
- Career prospects and long-term planning
Several students expressed interest in pursuing diverse fields including Computer Science, Law, Psychology, Tourism, and Humanities, demonstrating a growing ambition among visually impaired students to explore new academic and career horizons.
This session marked an inspiring beginning to our annual Career Guidance Program, reaffirming our belief that consistent mentorship plays a vital role in shaping the future of visually impaired students.
